Large Fine Vintage Cut Crystal Water Goblet

Beautiful old elegant crystal goblets by unknown maker.  Listed in 'Crystal Stemware Identification Guide' as UNK302.  Described as a water goblet, stands 7½" tall.  The big trumpet bowl is hand blown and cut with a wide band of criss-cross and lower trim of large criss-crosses.  The intricate stem was made with a 3-part mold.  The foot was applied to the stem. Quality colorless crystal.  Exceptional clarity.  The crystal recipe contains Manganese, a mineral used to replace lead during WWI and WWII when lead was scarce.  Manganese causes the glass to reflect greenish under blacklight (image 4) Each goblet weighs ½ lb.
