Antique Satin Glass Powder Box with Lovebirds

A pair of lovebirds sitting on a branch adorn this beautiful antique satin glass powder puff box.  Made in the 1920s by a company within the U.S. Glass Consortium, perhaps Tiffin Glass. Parrot and Lovebird themes were popular in the Art Deco era. The glass is in perfect condition, no chips or chiggers.  The semi-translucent satin finish is in bright and whole condition.  It appears perfect.  But, when this box was made approximately 90 years ago, it was hand-painted with gold enamel trim.  Although hard to see, traces of the enamel are present beneath the outer rim.  The gold has worn off so completely it's difficult to detect it once was there.  Still looks beautiful.  Measures 5" wide, 3" tall and weighs just under 1 lb.
