English Hobnail Milk Glass Stoppered Bottle Set

Pair of heavy vintage white milk glass stoppered bottles in the English Hobnail pattern. Widely attributed to Westmoreland Glass.  Circa 1930s - 1940s.  These cologne bottles do not have the Westmoreland WG mark.  Westmoreland items were not always marked with the superimposed W over G, unmarked items generally indicate an early make.  In image 3 below, the box and fan vase are marked by Westmoreland. The box and vase are available separately.  The cologne bottles are a solid white, and the box and fan vase have a hint of blue.  Duncan Miller (read more about Duncan glass) and other elegant glass houses made bottles like this and we suspect these bottles are not Westmoreland. Both bottles are in perfect condition with thick-walled, pure white opaque glass.  Measure 6½" tall and weigh 1 lb each.  Stopper and bottle necks are ground to fit.  Fire-polished, seams not visible. Sturdy and useful for vanity colognes, kitchen potions or bar accessories.
