Mats Jonasson Blue Magic Large Clam Shell Bowl

Blue Magic bowl by famed Swedish glass artist Mats Jonasson. Jonasson was born in 1945 Sweden.  In 1981 he purchased shares of the newly independent Malaras Glassworks which is still in business today. This big beautiful bowl is in perfect condition and impressed with 'Mats Jonasson, Sweden' on the seat.  The 'Blue Magic' line is contemporary, but discontinued. Circa 2010. Measures 9½" round and 2.75" tall.  Deep bowl with multitudes of uses.  Beautiful for ocean / beach decor.  Regal blue glass is smooth on the inside, textured on the out side and stylized with a white frosted clam shell rim.
