Mid Century Elegant Cased Art Glass 3.7 Foot Tall Lamp

SOLD Fabulous.  TALL vintage art glass lamp in beautifully preserved condition measures 43" tall without the shade. In image below, this towering lamp sits next to a full-size wine bottle to help show its immense size. Three huge pillow optic cased glass orbs connected by brass spacers sitting on a solid white marble base.  All in perfect condition. The shade connector and bulb holder have atmosphere wear (invisible with shade attached), but the rest of the metals are like-new. Leviton hardware and wiring in working condition. Switch is made of bakelite. Very sturdy.  The vintage shade is in nice condition, super clean with no problems. Made in the 1950s. It has the 'elegant Italian' look that was so popular then.  The glass was made with a layer of white under a layer of light blue blown together from an optic mold.  Beautiful glass with a decor that is not easy to accomplish.  The glass was probably made in Italy, France or the United states.  The Leviton hardware is a U.S. product. The base is raised from the surface slighty by four small ball feet. Extra tall lamp (3', 7") designed for end-tables. Base measures 7½" square.  Stands 3', 7" tall, Weighs 13½ lbs. Stunning.
