Blown Italian glass domed foot goblet vase

Elegant modernist oversized snifter vase hand blown in Italy, 1950s.

Blown smoke black glass with optic panels and an unusual domed inverted foot.

Mod decor from the atomic age, circa 1950s.  Made in Italy.  We have another of this form with an intact label, see image 6.  This vase is unmarked.

In excellent condition with mild bottom-wear. Bowl and stem were blown separately, then applied together.

Beautiful flower holder, we put a bunch of garden flowers in image 1 below.  This style also makes a great fern or hanging plant holder.  Do not plant directly inside the glass.  The rim and depth allows for a 4" wide pot to slip inside.

Measures 6" tall, 7" at widest with a girth of 18.5".
