Medieval style Italian leather and glass decanter

Italian leather wrapped decanter from the 1970s.

'Made in Italy' is stamped into the leather on the base.  Green glass decanter is completely wrapped in leather and adorned with a rearing lion crest.

The decor on the leather is hand-worked, not machined.  Some gold paint was used as accents, it is lighter than original as the paint has worn a bit over the years.  Otherwise in fine original condition.

The big ball stopper has a plastic insert.  This indicates that the bottle was exported from Italy with booze inside, probably wine.  Still gives an airtight seal,  great for decanting tequila or your favorite booze.

Clean inside and out.  No damage.  Measures 11.5" tall, weighs 2 lbs.
