Myrica decor invented by Tora Pors in the 1950s.

Signed and numbered '165/195 T.Pors Kalmar', see image 5.
This hand-blown vase is decorated with Myrica, a technique invented by Tora Pors.  Pors is a Danish designer who worked for Kalmar Glasbruk (Swedish) from 1947 to 1954.
Myrica is a series of embedded linear lines of colored glass, done by hand, no two are exactly alike.  Myrica was used on vases, ashtrays and table service glass, all of which are very hard to find today.
Heavy blown and cased crystal has a four-lobe base.  Weighs 2 lbs.  Stands 8" tall.  Polished base and heat finished rim.
Heavy bottom-wear, as you can see on the signature image.  Also has an very light, invisible in the images, calcium whisp in the interior.  This was caused by liquids allowed to evaporate. Very hard to see.  No chips or cracks.  An inclusion of a charcoal bit from the furnace and a trapped air bubble is shown in image 6.  Inclusions and air bubbles are not uncommon in vintage studio blown glass.  Overall condition for its age is very good.
