Cambridge glass Calla Lily candlestick holder set

Elegant blown glass candlestick holder set

Made by Cambridge Glass in the 1920s - 1940s, catalog part # 449.

Called 'Calla Lily' resembling the flower.

Handblown in thick elegant depression glass.  Made with manganese instead of lead and will glow light yellowish green under blacklight.  This type of glass turns purple under prolonged (many years) UV exposure.  The purpling effect is considered damage by serious collectors.  These candlestick holders have no purpling.

In excellent condition. When using modern candles, be sure to remove any metal part (wick holder) from the candle before using in vintage or antique glass holders.

Measure 6.25" tall on a 5" wide base.
