Blenko air twist decanter from the 1960s SCARCE

Fabulous and rare glass art from 1960s 1970s Blenko

Blenko part no. 6716; designed in 1967.  Very, very hard to find.

14.25" tall, 13" at widest with a widest circumference of 39".  Weighs a total of 7 lbs, with the stopper weighing 1.5 lbs by itself.

Blenko made paperweights in the airtwist design.  The stoppers on this bottles are just like the paperweights.  This stopper is in very good condition with one small rough line on the exterior (you'll have a hard time spotting it), probably caused by a bump.  The stopper has NO chiggers at the end of the neck insert as often seen.  Bottle and stopper are ground to fit (must turn the stopper until it slides into the correct position)

The bottle is in excellent condition.  No chips, no cracks, glass is clean and brilliant.  In beautiful "Blenko Blue" also called "Turquoise".  Medium bottom-wear on base from sitting on it's big bottom for all these years.
