Mod Morgantown Blue Vintage Crystal Federal Patio Light Set

Genuine lead crystal from the early 1960s Morgantown Decor Line.

Big beautiful relics of authentic retro modern decor made in the late 1950s to the early 1960s by Morgantown Glass.  Morgantown called this the "Federal Patio Light", part no. 9913.

In excellent condition.  Both have light bottom wear (consistent with heavy glass over 50 years old).  This set does not have the original labels as shown on vase in image 6, second row.  The vase in the image was previously sold. The label is shown for identification purposes. The original labels would have read: Old Morgantown, Genuine Lead Crystal, Handmade in U.S.A

Large, table sized "patio light", measures 8.5" tall, with a 4.5" wide mouth.  Weigh 1.2 lbs EACH. Offered as a set of two.

Base is weighted with thick glass for stability.  Pleasing light blue color was called "Peacock Blue".  .. Blown by hand from mold with pontil mark on seat, no seams.  Crystal is top quality. The color darkens with the thickness of the glass, looks awesome.  Shown in image 2 with a large 1970s big-eye figurine (lol...remember those?)

Can use big column or taper candles of any height with a base of 3.5" wide or smaller. Remember to remove all metal that may be attached to a modern candle before burning it in vintage glass.  Also great as a flower vase.
