| Image number 6 is a contemporary Rosendahl Grand Cru mug. As you can see it has a rounded handle and a high sheen metal band. Columbo's glassware designs of the 1950s often incorporated squared handles and steel, and brushed steel was a favorite. A nuclear future was on the world's collective mind, and space-age styled products were the rage. Joe Columbo was a much admired designer of the period.
