Made by Jeannette Glass in the 1950s. Designed to compliment Blue Jasperware (porcelain) dinnerware by Wedgwood from the same era. This color was called Corinthian blue by Jeannette. Neoclassic decor, a revival of ancient Greek and Roman styles, was popular in the 1950s. |
