Pinch Decanter And Wine Stem Set in Dark Amethyst glass

Beautiful amethyst pinch decanter and two tall wine stems by Bischoff.

Handblown decanter, stopper and two wine stems, all in excellent condition.

Circa 1940s-1960s, Made by Bischoff Art Glass.  Decanter (Bischoff part no. 478) is 10.5" with stopper, wine glasses are 8.5" tall.

Decanter is pinched on both sides, meeting in the middle.  Pontil mark on inverted base.

The two tall wine glasses are handblown with base applied.  One of the glasses has a lighter purple hue than the other.  This is a result of handblowing.  The gatherer used less glass on one stem, making it slightly thinner walled and lighter hued.

The stopper is  not original to this bottle, it is a Cambridge stopper, and has been married to this decanter.
