English Hobnail Milk Glass Fan Vase and Box

1950s Westmoreland Glass English Hobnail fan vase & box.

Nice vintage milkglass for the table or vanity. Both items are marked by maker, WG embossed. Westmoreland Glass was an elegant glass maker in the early to mid 20th century.  They are no longer in business.  Vase measures 5.25" tall, 6.5" wide and 1 5/8" thick. Covered box is 4.75 x 3.75 x1.5", weighs 1.5 lbs.  Thick, sturdy milk glass in English hobnail.  Hobnails are flattened with four points.  Normal hobnail pattern is rounded. The covered box was designed as a cigarette holder and/or playing card box, but can hold anything. The fan vase is in excellent condition.  The box has 3 tiny sliver chips on inner box rim, under lid.  Barely visible with lid off, invisible with lid on. Stoppered bottles shown in image 1 are not included.
