Viking Bluenique Taperglow Candle Holder Vase Set

SOLD Very tall hand stretched candleholder vases

Set of 2 Viking Art Glass Epic Taperglow #1192 in Viking's patented "Bluenique" color. Large candleholders are 16.5" tall. They are taller than full-sized taper candles. Weigh 2.2 lbs each. Made in 1958 to early 1960s. Shown in "Living for Young Homemakers" in April 1958 which describes it as "...tall, graceful, envied and modern"  and in "The Gift & Art Buyer" Feb. 1958 which states "Designed to appeal to the woman who likes to do exciting entertaining."  See images below. Handblown from mold - polished base rim. Thick, lovely glass. Made to accomodate flowers also, see advertisement below. In Excellent Condition.
