Swedish primitive art glass fish by Hellsten

Beautiful Skruf art glass fanciful fish.

Signed by artist Lars Hellsten who worked for Skrufs Glasbruk in Sweden until 1972. (Hellsten Skruf etched on base). Also still retains original label.  Hellsten works for Orrefors at present.

Made in the early late 1960's to the early 1970s. Solid crystal glass formed in a very detailed, deep mold.  Skruf paperweights were blown in graphite molds.  Flat, smooth back.

Images #3 & #4 include a 1960's signed Hellsten native head paperweight (available separately).

Weighs 1.5 lbs. Measures 6" wide and 1.35" deep. Sitting next to a large real apple in Image #4 to help show size.

In excellent condition. Scarce item.
