SOLD Elegant Imperial Crystal Lazy Susan.

The Candlewick line was designed and patented by the Imperial Glass Co. in 1936.  This beautiful, high-end glass pattern was inspired by the cotton wick that was used in Colonial America embroidery.  Candlewick glassware was very popular and it was produced until 1982.  It can be found in 100's of different glassware shapes.
This 10" wide, 1.5" deep, 5 tab handle tray is part of the 3-piece Lazy Susan set. Originally came with a bowl for the center and an ashtray.  We have not seen the set together, nor have we've found images of it.  Hard to imagine how the ashtray fit in! The complete 3-piece Lazy Susan set was valued at $300.00 in 1991.
Images #5 & #6 show a cocktail stem sitting in the center hole of a 6-part server.  Other Candlewick items shown in images are available separately.
The glass is medium weight and high quality.  In excellent condition. Polished ring base.
Extremely fun to collect and use. The Candlewick pattern came in a large variety of colors, decoration (etchings, gold, etc.), and shapes.
