Swedish Modern Taperglow Candle Holder Flower Vase Set

Set of 2 Viking Art Glass Epic Taperglow #1192 in amethyst glass. Very big candleholders are16.5" tall.   Rare to see these in amethyst. Made in 1958 to early 1960s. Shown in "Living for Young Homemakers" in April 1958 which describes it as "...tall, graceful, envied and modern"  and in "The Gift & Art Buyer" Feb. 1958 which states "Designed to appeal to the woman who likes to do exciting entertaining." Hand blown from mold - polished base rim. Beautiful, flawless glass. In Excellent Condition. Made to accomodate flowers also, see advertisement below.
