Italian Murano Art Glass Set of Birds

SOLD Set of TWO fabulous vintage art glass bird figurines from mid-century Italy.

 

They are in perfect condition, no chips, no cracks, no scratches. These were very popular in the 1950s. Although this pair does not have labels still attached, we have another (sold separately) iridescent blue bird with label that reads - Genuine Venetian Glass Made in Murano, Italy - . The labeled bird, not included with the set of orange & green birds is shown in image 3.  Clicking image 3 will take you to the blue bird's catalog page. The inner colored glass casings of both birds have an iridescent glimmer. The orange crane is 8.5" tall. The green swan like bird is 8" tall. Both solid cased glass, hand blown. Solid glass base, nose, crown and eyes applied. Lovely specimens!
