Mid-Century Modern Deer Figurine Sculpture by Pilgrim Art Glass, USA

Large, graceful and delicate resting deer figurine by Pilgrim Art Glass is in excellent condition. Circa 1970’s. Shown in Pilgrim’s 1970 catalog as item number 936 ‘Bambi’.

Body is solid light yellow glass with interesting tangerine cloud swirls. Glass was formed into shape by hand. Delicate front legs and ears are hand tooled.  Hooves have a splash of tangerine.

Pontil separation mark just below tail.  Big deer figurine measures 5.5″ long from hoof to tail, weighs 1/2 lb.
