In 1944 the company was renamed Viking Glass. Their use of color in their glassware was what they became known for. Their line include everything from glass for the boudoir and lamps, to smoking and liquor sets, and included tableware and decorative art glass designs.

In the late 1950’s, Viking featured modern shapes and designs, such as this “Epic” Taperglow line. It was shown in “Living for Young Homemakers” in April 1958, which describes it as “…tall, graceful, envied and modern” and in “The Gift & Art Buyer” Feb. 1958 which states “Designed to appeal to the woman who likes to do exciting entertaining.”

This  Taperglow set of candle vases is in excellent condition. They measure 18″ tall.
